After landing
Follow the Arrival signs, clear immigration and customs, then collect your bags. Changi is large; families with children should allow 45–60 minutes from stepping off the plane to getting into the car.
Where the driver waits
A common arrangement is a driver waiting in the arrival hall with a name sign, or meeting at an agreed pickup point. Confirm the terminal, meeting point and driver contact before you fly.
Waiting and delays
Arrival pickups usually include a reasonable waiting window after landing. A good operator tracks your flight and adjusts for delays instead of asking you to explain it after you land.
Which vehicle for luggage
Two to three guests with two or three bags usually need a sedan; four to six guests, a stroller or extra bags need an MPV; seven or more need a minibus. Tell the operator the number and size of bags in advance.
Late-night and early-morning arrivals
Pickups can be arranged at any hour, but vehicle and driver availability is tighter. Book ahead. Taxi queues at odd hours are unpredictable; a pre-arranged transfer is usually calmer.
